The Mission and Vision Statements of the
Fairmount Christian Church

The mission of the Fairmount Christian Church is to develop followers of Jesus who love God, love people, and introduce the world to Christ. 

Vision Emphasis #1: Fairmount will be a church that is Bible-Centered.

1. We see Fairmount as a Bible-Centered church where all activities of the church are grounded in sound, Biblical principles.
2. We see Fairmount as a Bible-Centered church with a result of transformed lives. This is accomplished when:
   1. All teachers are Biblically trained.
   2. Every person is in Bible Study.

Vision Emphasis #2: Fairmount will be a church that is Committed to Growth

1. We see Fairmount as a church that is committed to growth with the result being a Spiritually Mature congregation. This is accomplished when:
   1. Every person is committed to Christ.
   2. Every person is involved in worship.
   3. Every person is involved in a Bible School class or Bible Study.
   4. Every person can articulate their faith.Every person is using their spiritual gifts in ministry.
   5. Every person is practicing Biblical stewardship.
   6. Every person is involved in evangelism.
   7. Every person is involved in fellowship-enhancing activities.
2. We see Fairmount as a church that is Committed to Growth with the result being a Financially Healthy congregation. This is accomplished when:
   1. A Faith Based Budget
   2. Every person is tithing.
   3. Giving exceeds budget.
3. We see Fairmount as a church that is Committed to Growth with the result being Facilities that enhance the accomplishment of the vision.

Vision Emphasis #3: Fairmount will be a church that is Community Focused and Globally Minded

1. We see Fairmount as a church that is Community Focused and Globally Minded with a result being that every person is involved in Missions.
2. We see Fairmount as a church that is Community Focused and Globally Minded with a result being that we are a leader in the community. This is accomplished when:
   1. We are partnering with area churches and community organizations.
   2. We are providing community-wide outreach events.
   3. We are implementing ministries responsive to community needs.
      1. Open a Christian Pre-School and Daycare.
      2. Offer Counseling and Support services.
3. We see Fairmount as a church that is Community Focused and Globally Minded with a result being multiple worship campuses.

Vision Emphasis #4: Fairmount will be a church that is Dedicated to Excellence.

1. We see Fairmount as a church that is Dedicated to Excellence with the result of having a Professional ministerial team and support staff dedicated to the Word. This is realized through:
   1. A ministerial team that is fully staffed and supported.
   2. A church staff that is involved in continuing development.
2. We see Fairmount as a church that is Dedicated to Excellence with the result being an effective and enthusiastic volunteer force. This is accomplished as we have:
   1. Recruited, trained and properly utilized volunteers.
