The Bible puts quite an emphasis on growing. Paul applauds the Thessalonian church for growing in their faith and love for others. Psalm 1 describes the Godly as trees planted by streams of water. Each of us are growing organisms, planted in the rich soil of the church, fed constantly by the living water that only God provides.
Are you growing? Are you growing in your love for God and love for people? Are you growing in your worship, your study, your ministry, your evangelism, and your fellowship? Many a wise pundit has said, if you aren’t growing, you’re dying. All of us need to be growing.
We have a great mission here at Fairmount – a mission given to our church by God in His Word. We have a great vision of the kind of church God wants here at Fairmount – a vision developed through prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Our mission and vision statement is always available on the Web site.
Our superhero friends of the G-Force are going to challenge us each week to work even harder to accomplish our awesome mission. Be here each week as they inspire us to grow like God wants us to grow. Remember the G-Force motto: “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Become a member of the G-Force with me.
