How can your role be described?
Preschool Helpers assist teachers in shepherding preschoolers and teaching them about God and Jesus. Church membership is not required for this role. Preschool helpers serve weekly or biweekly.

What are the available times to serve?
9:15-10:45 2’s, 3’s or Pre-K
10:45-12:00 2’s, 3’s or Pre-K
Wednesday Nights: 6:30-7:30 PM
How will you serve?
You will be responsible for the following:
- Support the teacher and help students follow the class routine and rules. Follow through with the rules/rewards/consequences.
- Help engage students in the learning. (participate in the activities)
- Shepherd your students by taking time to talk and listen to them, by sending notes and cards to their homes.
- Pray for your students.
- Model Christ-like behavior for your students both in and out of the classroom.
What are the requirements to serve in this role?
- Membership of Fairmount Christian Church status: Member / Active attender / No requirement
- Completed Children’s Ministry Volunteer Application
- Passed background security check
- Completed Special Needs training (as needed)
